Learning how to Network is one of the most crucial skills that someone must learn to increase their Hustle game.
Networking comes in many forms: face-to-face, social media, peer introductions, etc.
Emailing is one of the best ways to network because it is direct channel straight to their inbox! But what if you don’t have access to the email address of the person you want to contact?
I’m here today to teach you how to get access to almost anyone’s Email Inbox – even if they are a VIP or Corporate Executive. This trick is so good that it should charge admission….but of course it’s FREE.
Using a similar process to the one i’m about to show you, my coworkers and i were able to create a database of over 10,000 executives. We also found the email addresses of CEOs of large, publicly traded companies.
It is so easy that it actually became a game for us to see who could find the email of the most influential person.
How can you use this for personal Hustle?
What if you could get ahold of someone that had the power to help you get a job at your dream company? Or the Business School you want to go to? Or you could find the email address of potential clients for your business?
In fact, i used this EXACT method to get published on one of the large Christian blogs in the US.
This trick isn’t for the timid. But sometimes you have to be daring to get the attention of someone that you want to network with.
Here’s How to Do It
Step 1: Find the company email pattern
If the information for the person you want to connect with is not readily available, we might have to do a bit of dirty work to start off with.
The best place to start is to find the company email pattern.
If you fool around on the company website, you may be able to come up with someone from the company’s email address.
Step 2: Plugin the name of the person
This random email address may not be the one we want, but it is still a good thing. We can take the pattern of that email, and insert the name of the person you are
Step 3: Verify the email address with Rapportive or Sidekick.
This method is just to verify that this address is being used by the person.
Rapportive: Verifies email addresses that are linked to a LinkedIn account
If it matches, it will show a LinkedIn profile and a brief profile.
SideKick: Verifies email based on Social Media profiles
If it matches, it will show a profile with links to twitter and/or facebook page and company website.
If either or both of these hit, you are a LOCK!
Step 1: Get the Email Format Generator
This is a Google Sheet from heaven that i use to generate the most probable company email structures. With this puppy, you have a great shot that one of them will be the money-maker.
This is what it looks like:
Step 2: Plug-in the Person’s information
Just plug in the VIPs first and last name – and if you have their middle name, throw that in there too. The only other thing you need to add is the company domain.
Then let it work its magic.
It will deliver 45+ different possible email structures.
(Side Note: If you read to the end of the post you can get access to the Email Format Generator)
Step 3: Test the email patterns with a mail verifier
My favorite is Mailtester.com
When you have a match the box will light up with all Green.
If the domain or email name is not valid, it will show in red with an error message. This means you need to do a bit more troubleshooting in order to find the correct address.
Step 4: Final Verification with Rapportive or Sidekick
Repeat the Step 3 from Method 1.
Now you are ready to start “hacking” the email addresses of people you want to connect with, and actually have access to their inbox. Super cool, right?
But here’s an added bonus!
If you want the Email Format Generator that creates 45+ email address iterations, just on the link below to get FREE access to the spreadsheet from the Heavens.
Who’s one person you would LOVE to connect with? If you could build a relationship with this person, imagine what that could do for your life – or what that one client could mean for your career or business.
You can make that happen for yourself.
